1 - Reminiscences, stories, songs and mouth music by Calum Johnson, his sister Annie Johnston, and Flora MacNeil. [Source: Editor]
2 - The box of T3427 was given the date September 20, 1950, and the location of Glasgow, but there is no further information anywhere that confirms Lomax's presence in Glasgow on that date with the Johnstons. All evidence suggests that the recordings on that tape (probably a later edit) were made during the July 1951 session, and have thus been included here. [Source: Editor]
