1 - This session features a singing/drumming group performing songs and dances that accompany a game called the ?chicken game." It is described at various points by Antoinette Lomax and the performers. All of the performances feature call-and-response singing (usually between a lead singer and chorus) and often shouts of encouragement and/or taunts can be heard in the background directed at the blindfolded individual who is the focus of the chicken game. The first performance can be heard on Caribbean Voyage: Grenada (Rounder CD 1728). [Source: Recordings and Field Log]
