0 - Jones recalls singing spirituals in hotel concert performances in the Georgia Sea Islands: "We had a good time singing those songs. We sang inside a big hotel. That was one time we had no segregation. Every third Sunday night they used to sing these spiritual songs in an old hotel for twenty-five years. Some of them were singing since 1909."
