1 - This first session in Andalusia took place in the Sacromonte neighbourhood of Granada, at the zambra of Rosa Amaya (known as "La Faraona"). Lomax's diary gives quite detailed, often lyrical descriptions of the Roma (Gypsy, Gitano) artists he met and recorded, of the children and the neighborhood.
